Northern Xposure Weekend

NX is very excited to be taking place during the official Opening Weekend for The Gay Softball World Series in Seattle this year. Northern Xposure Weekend will be held August 21st - 24th, and we have a great lineup of events (www.nxposure.com) for you, prior to kicking off World Series week. As a special offer, we are making tickets available to you, the softball players, FIRST. Tickets will be available as of June 26th, 1pm PST. Just follow the below link directly to Brown Paper Tickets website to purchase them before they are announced to the general public on Saturday, June 28th. The Legends Game

The Legends Game is a seven inning game scheduled at Russell Road Park prior to the championship games. The registration deadline is July 30th, 2008. All participants will receive a "Legends 2008" jersey! Special eligibility requirements apply. Application submission does not guarantee selection. Entrants and teams will be determined by the event director.
Championship Saturday
On Saturday August 30th all NAGAAA & ASANA trophy games will be played at Russell Rd Park. It will be a fun day at the park with lots for everyone to do. There will be a mechanical bull, rock climbing wall, bungee swing, old fashion 17' hammer striker, dunk tank, fortune teller and face painter. We will also have a speed pitch machine and will give an award to the man & women that can throw the fastest ball. All of this and then Championship Games to watch also. Championship games start early and carnival games start around 11 AM.
Closing Ceremonies
Start Time: Immediattely following Championship games.
Closing Ceremonies will be at Russell Rd Park and will start immediately after the last Championship game. Hall of Fame members will be inducted - placement trophies will be presented by the NAGAAA & ASANA Boards. The Host City will give out some special awards for Sportsmanship, Spirit & Best Uniform and all rostered NAGAAA & ASANA players get to enjoy a great NW BBQ. Also there will be the traditional handing off of the NAGAAA & ASANA flags to Milwaukee & Madison for Series 2009.
Purr Closing Night Block Party
Start Time: Doors Open at 2:00 PM, DJ at 8:00 PM
